Our clinical content is intended to help Australian men understand low testosterone and make better-informed decisions with their doctor. These are the standards we hold it to.

    Sources we rely on

    How a page is written

    1. A writer drafts the article against the sources above.
    2. An editor checks each claim against the cited sources and current Australian guidelines for accuracy, currency and tone. Named medical reviewers will be listed here when they are appointed.
    3. External links are checked. Out-of-date links and superseded guidelines are removed.
    4. The page is published with a clearly visible "Published" or "Updated" date.

    Updates and corrections

Clinical pages are reviewed at minimum every 12 months and immediately when relevant Australian guidelines change. If you spot a factual error, please tell us — we publish a correction with the updated date on the page.

    Advertising and independence

We do not accept payment for editorial placement. We may receive a referral fee from partner clinics or pathology providers when a user chooses to book through us; this never affects which symptoms we recommend testing for or the clinical thresholds we publish.

    Scope and disclaimers

All content is general health information for Australian men. It is not a substitute for individual medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your GP or a registered specialist for decisions about your own health.

Take the free 2-minute symptom check

The ADAM symptom check shows whether your symptoms may be worth discussing with a doctor. You can also request a callback to get matched with a men's health doctor at a partner clinic, by telehealth or in person, for an assessment.
