    How Low T Check works

Low T Check is an Australian doctor-matching service, not a clinic. Take a free two-minute symptom check (the ADAM questionnaire, a screening tool, not a diagnosis), get your score and PDF report, and request a call back. A partner clinic calls within 48 hours; its AHPRA-registered doctor decides whether blood tests are appropriate. Nothing is paid on this site.

    1. Take the free symptom check

The check is on the home page. It takes about two minutes: ten yes-or-no ADAM questions, plus two questions about your health history. It is a screening tool, not a diagnosis. The check is free.

    2. See your score and PDF report

You see a score out of ten and can add your name, email and mobile to download a PDF of your answers. Screening only, not a diagnosis. Keep the report, take it to your own GP, or ask a partner clinic to call you.

    3. Request a call back

Pick a preferred day, or use the short form on any page. A partner clinic will call you within 48 hours to talk through next steps. The call arranges an assessment. It is not a diagnosis.

    4. See an AHPRA-registered doctor

An AHPRA-registered Australian doctor at a partner clinic assesses you by telehealth or in person. The doctor decides whether blood tests are appropriate. Blood is collected in person at a pathology centre, usually in the morning, and may be bulk billed where eligible. Read how testosterone blood tests work in Australia and how doctor matching works.

    5. Results and next steps

The doctor explains your results. Any next step, including follow-up with your own GP, is the doctor's decision. Any treatment is only if the doctor decides it is clinically appropriate.

What Low T Check is not

    What it costs

[0:00] What Low T Check is (and isn't)

Wondering whether low energy, low drive or poor sleep could be linked to low testosterone? Here's how Low T Check works, step by step. First, what we are: an Australian doctor-matching service. We're not a clinic, and we don't prescribe anything.

[0:20] Step 1: The free 2-minute symptom check

Step one is a free symptom check on our home page. It takes about two minutes: ten yes-or-no questions from the ADAM questionnaire (Androgen Deficiency in Aging Males), a screening tool for symptoms linked to low testosterone, plus two questions about your health history. It's a screening tool, not a diagnosis.

[0:39] Step 2: Your score and PDF report

Step two: you'll see your score out of ten and what it may mean. Add your name, email and mobile to get a PDF report of your answers. Keep it, take it to your own GP, or ask for a call back from a partner clinic.

[0:55] Step 3: Request a call back (partner clinic calls within 48 hours)

Step three: request a call back. Pick a preferred day, or use the short form on any page with your name, phone and the best time to call. A partner clinic will call you within 48 hours to arrange an assessment.

[1:10] Step 4: The doctor assessment

Step four is an assessment with an AHPRA-registered Australian doctor at a partner clinic, by telehealth or in person. The doctor goes through your symptoms and history and decides whether blood tests are appropriate. Blood is collected in person at a pathology centre, usually in the morning, and may be bulk billed where eligible.

[1:32] Step 5: Results and next steps

Step five: the doctor explains your results and your options, which may include follow-up with your own GP. Any treatment is only if the doctor decides it's clinically appropriate.

[1:44] Costs, checking your doctor, emergencies

The symptom check is free, with no obligation, and nothing is paid on this site. Any consult fee is set and charged by the partner clinic, which explains it before you book. You can check any Australian doctor on the public AHPRA register. This video is general information, not medical advice. It's not for emergencies; if you need urgent help, call triple zero (000).
